HydroCoir Grow Bags are the sustainable choice for the soil-less cultivation of edible and floral crops. The grow bags are used under glasshouse and table top poly-tunnel agricultural systems. Growers using our grow bags have observed and experienced their plants developing at least 40% – 50% increase in root growth, more evenly distributed roots, faster growth and healthier stems, blooms and vegetables. Coir being fibrous retains many air pockets that increases the surface area of the root system which provides better absorption of nutrients from the soil.
‘HydroCoir Grow Slabs’ have the capability to provide protection to plant root zones by elevating the nutrients uptake while minimizing the risk of disease. The slabs can be manufactured with a blend of coco coir with husks and cut fiber. We customize our products to fit our growers needs, whether it be the coir mix or the buffering to the plastic of the bag.
We further cater a range of size options requested by our growers for our slabs. HydroCoir is also equally flexible on the planting, dripper and drainage holes that we can pre-cut in the grow bag at no extra cost.
If needed, our team is further equipped to drill holes directly into the coir at dripper points to accommodate wetting up the slabs.

‘HydroCoir Open-Tops’ generally come in 25 – 45 litres but we are equipped to customise the containers as per our growers’ requirements. Our products are typically popular amongst our clients that specialise in soft fruit such as blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.
